“Unbelievable.” This was what Mr. G uttered this morning when he opened the door to a cold wind and gray skies. He lived in Chicago all his life and is still not used to what everybody refers to as “Chicago weather”, which changes drastically all the time. We were just at 75 degrees yesterday morning and at about noon, the temperature dropped to 32 degrees. Today, it feels like we’re back to winter time. It is unbelievable.
But I kissed him goodbye and told him to have a good day. Thankful that Jesus is someone we can always believe in regardless of what kind of weather we are in. And so as we remember Jesus’ darkest days this week, may the power of the cross truly transform us so we can see the light behind these clouds. Have a great meditative week dear family and friends. We are praying for you!
“The witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” – 1 John 5:11-12
